Wow, um, update. O.o

Jesus, I didn't realize I haven't updated my journal in forever...

Well, I should start with the fact that at the beginning of January, I (along with my friend) moved! Yup, I'm finally out of hellhole WV and moved to Florida, so I can go to college. I really, REALLY like it here so far. I don't think I'll ever live away from a beach again! I don't know why, I just feel so good living in a coastal town...x3

Unfortunately for now I have to stay in a house that I hate. We're staying with my friend's aunt, who was really nice when we first got here...but now it's completely shit! I mean, yes, I do appreciate every good, nice thing she's doing for us...but I'm beginning to think the bad shit's starting to outweigh the good stuff. O_o Whatever, though. We're planning on moving out as soon as we can get steady jobs, we have a car up here, and our other friend comes up. Then all three of us are getting a place together, and I think it'll be amazing. That's the only bad thing about it here so far, which it's something that will be remedied shortly so it's alright.

Um, other than that I've been going to college, just finished my first math class (made a 96.7 average!), and I'm taking Sign Language class too. I want to take more, but I think it's best if my friend and I keep all of the extra cash we have and save it for moving in the near future. It'll be awesome!

Only other major thing that happened is that Thunder Thighs (my totally bad-ass awesome super heroine) could possibly be made into a cartoon/comic book! Yes. Thunder Thighs. It's awesome. x3 I'm trying to come up with some good, cartoony designs that would be good for animations, as well as a comic. Still studying my foundations of art and anatomy and such too, so no worries that I'll only draw cartoons. I love realism and such too much!

But yeah. Lots of other stuff has happened, but this is the main stuff. :3

Iron Maiden concert in Columbia, MD.

I just got back from the Iron Maiden's Somewhere Back In Time concert...and it's probably going to be one of the highlights of my life now. It was so awesome...and next time they go on tour I'll have to be sure to get up-front seats and VIP passes and everything else I can think of, because it will just be worth it.

I knew they were my favorite band for a reason. :D Hmm...now all I have to do is get about 30 dollars for my birthday so I can join their fan club...I know I'm pathetic. :)

Oh, by the way, my 18th birthday is on the 22nd. I think it'll be fun. :)

Three Days Grace!

Yes, I finally got to go to one of their concerts! They played with Breaking Benjamin, Seether, and another band called Neverset. They're on Myspace, so to all that have one I would highly recommend you check them out. They really rock.

The concert was FUCKING AWESOME! I went to Pikeville, Kentucky to see it Wednesday. It was the coolest; everyone played awesome. I bought a couple very over-priced souvenirs (a pair of really nice fingerless gloves and a shirt). And Three Days Grace's part had fire. Lots of fire. And it was awesome. I'll try and get some pics up soon (A lot will be my brothers pics, my camera didn't really want to take any decent pictures, and after it started to, it went dead, which was about halfway through the concert. :()

I was hoarse for the rest of the night after the concert from screaming and singing so much. I think Three Days Grace was my favorite part of the concert (I just like them better anyway), but everyone was completely awesome, I think I like them all a lot more now.

I is a happy person.

Hi all!

Sorry I haven't been active as much (I've been checking this place almost every day, though lol). I've been doing a lot of stuff and haven't really had much time to write another big journal like I want to. But since I have a bit of time now, I'll go ahead and tell you the biggest news that's happened to me lately. I finally got my first job! (and I have my brother to thank for that) It's at Pizza Hut, and since it's not fast food, it's fine with me (Hey, it may have taken awhile of being patient/stubborn to get a job around here by refusing to go into fast food, but it payed off in the end). So far I like the people I work with, the job itself is pretty cool (I'm a cook, and I like to cook anyway, so it's all good :D), and it seems like it'll be a pretty good place to work. Of course, I just started this Tuesday (so tomorrow will be my second day lol), so I'm just going on first impressions, but still...

Lol I was told that trainees usually don't cook their first day. I was making a few pizzas by myself by the end of the day. Lucky for me I learn fast :D

And, also, for right now, I have a severe case of artists block (it's not that I can't think of anything to draw, it's just when I try to draw it doesn't come out right! >:C), but Mom told me it's probably because a lot of stressful things are going on right now, so I need to chill a bit so I can get back to working on my manga! (And get my online math done ^o^;;; )

If you are under the age of 13...you should not read this

and if you do, you should not repost this.

Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid.

It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it.

You're a 90's kid if:

You can finish this [ice ice _ _ _ _ ]

You remember watching:
-Doug
-Ren & Stimpy
-Pinky and the Brain
-AAAAAAAH Real Monsters!
-Rockos modern Life.

You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"

You just cant resist finishing this . . . "Iiiiiiin west philidelphia born and raised . . ."

You remember:
-TGIF
-Step by Step
-Family Matters
-Dinosaurs
-Boy Meets World.

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.

You remember reading "Goosebumps"

You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence . . . not

when everyhting was settled by:
-rock paper scissors or
-bubble gum bubble gum in a dish or
-daddy had a donkey inky binky bonky.

when cops and robbers was a daily activity.

when we played Hide and go seek until our legs grew numb.

when we used to obey our parents

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time.

Your clothes with cartoon characters sticking out made all the kids on the block jealous.

"Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" was both a game and a TV game show.

Captain Planet. He's a Hero.

You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green ranger, were meant to be together. ♥♥♥

You owned the Power Ranger toys.

You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular.

You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny.

You remember watching Home Alone 1, 2 , and 3 . . . and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"

You remember that Polaroid cameras = instant pictures.

You remember watching:
-The Magic School Bus
-Wishbone
-Reading Rainbow on PBS.

You remember when Yo-Yos were cool.

You remember those Where's Waldo books.

You remember eating Warheads.

You remember watching:
-the 1st Batman
-Aladdin
-Ninja Turtles
-the little mermaid

You remember Ring Pops.

You remember falling asleep early at parties.

You remember drinking Surge, and Tang.

If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!"

When they made the new lunchables so that you could make pizza AND tacos.

You would always want to play outside with your friends who lived in your neighborhood .. outside.

You remember boom boxes vs. cd players.

Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them.

You played and/or collected "Pogs" :)

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere.

. . . Furbies.

You haven't always had a computer, and it was cool to have the internet.

And Windows 95 was the best,
no matter how slow it was.

You watched the original cartoons of Rugrats, Power Rangers, and Ninja Turtles.

Michael Jordan was a king.

Your parents bought you a playground for the backyard.

YIKES pencils and erasers were the stuff!

All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand.

You remember when the new Beanie Babies and Talking Elmo were always sold out

You collected those Beanie Babies.

Carebears

Gak was the coolest stuff invented.

Lambchop's song never ended.

The old dollar bills.

Silver dollars, which were cool to have.

You remember a time before the WB.

You collected all the Troll dolls

If you even know what an original walkman is.

You remember wanting to sit on the orange Nickelodeon couch.

You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

You know the Macarena by heart.

"Talk to the hand" . . . enough said

You always said, "Then why don't you marry it!"

You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace.

You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground.

Before the MySpace frenzy . . .

Before the Internet & text messaging . . .

Before Sidekicks & iPods . . .

Before MIKE JONES . . .

Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX . . .

Before Spongebob . . .

Back when you put off the 5 hours of homework you had every night.

Man, you didn't even have homework.

When light up sneakers were cool.

When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.

When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing.

When we recorded
stuff on VCRs.

When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off of our walkman.

When checking out drawing books and that one book about the rainbow fish from the library was THE cool thing to do.

You had slap braclets!

Way back.

Before we realized all this would eventually disappear.

Who would have thought you'd miss the 90's so much!!!!!

Post this in your journal if you remember these days . . . .

Post with the year you were born
